EXT.STREET
PETER(NARRATING)
It's me, Peter Parker.
Your friendly neighborhood... you know.
I've come a long way from being the boy who was bit by a spider.
Back then, nothing seemed to go right for me.
Now...

A big screen TV shows Spiderman swinging through the city.

KIDS
Wow, look, it's Spider-Man!

Kids are excited to see Spiderman.

PETER(NARRATING)
People really like me.

Peter is talking to the kids.

PETER
Hey, stick around! It's gonna start again in a couple minutes.

KIDS
Yeah...that's OK.

PETER(NARRATING)
The city is safe and sound.
Guess I've had something to do with that.
My uncle Ben would be proud.
I still go to school,top of my class.


Peter is riding a scooter.

INT.CLASSROOM
CONNORS
Now, the Hamiltonian shows us
that the energy levels are perturbed by the electric field.
From the form of this matrix,We can see...?
Miss Stacey?

Connors is speaking and asking the students a question. After that,
Peter and Gwen raise their hands at the same time.

Gwen is answering the question.

GWEN
That only the m=0 quantum states are affected.


INT. PETER'S CLASS

CONNORS
Correct! Good work, Miss Stacey.

Someone shines a light in Peter's face and he raises his hand to block it.

CONNORS
Parker. You got something to add?

PETER
No, sir.

EXT. THEATER

PETER
Hi. Um, Miss Watson left a ticket for me? Peter Parker.

INT. THEATER
Peter walks to his seat in the theater.
PETER
Excuse me. Sorry. Thank you.

Peter sits down. Peter is smirking and watching Mary Jane in a play.

PETER
It's my girlfriend!

Harry watches Peter from the balcony and smiles.

EXT. THEATER
Peter sees Harry after the show and stops him.
PETER
Harry! I need to talk to you. Explain things.

HARRY
Tell it to my father. Raise him from the dead.

Harry gets in a car.

PETER
I'm your friend, Harry. I cared about your father.

INT. BACKSTAGE
Peter calls out to Mary Jane.

PETER
MJ.

MARY JANE
Peter. Was I good?

They hug each other

PETER
Good? You were great. You were...

MARY JANE
You say great? I love my flowers. They're beautiful.
And those are from Harry. Was he here tonight?

PETER
Yeah, I ran into him outside.

MARY JANE
What's with you guys anyway?

PETER
It's complicated.

MARY JANE
Tell me again, was I really good? I was so nervous.
My knees were shaking.

PETER
Your knees were fine.

MARY JANE
The applause was not very loud.

PETER
Yes, it was.It's the acoustics. It's all about diffusion.
It keeps the sound waves from grouping. You see, when the sound
waves, they propagate, then it's like an...

MARY JANE
You are such a nerd.

They gaze at each other.

EXT. FOREST
Peter and Mary Jane are lying on a web, watching a meteor shower.

PETER
Did you see that one?


MARY JANE
You know what? I'd like to sing on stage for the rest of my life with yo u in the first row.

PETER
I'll be there.

MARY JANE
Tell me you love me.

PETER
I love you. I love you so much. I always have.

They kiss. A meteorite falls from the sky.
Something which is black comes out from the meteorite.
Peter and Mary Jane don’t notice it. They ride a scooter and it runs and attaches itself to the scooter.

EXT. STREET
Marko runs. Two police officers patrol in a police car. Marko climbs a ladder and enters his house.

INT. PENNY'S BEDROOM
Penny is sleeping. Marko watches her.

INT. KITCHEN
Marko makes a sandwich in darkness. His wife turns on the light.

WIFE
You can't hide here, Flint.

MARKO
I'm just here to see my daughter.

WIFE
You are an escaped convict. The cops are looking for you. You're not getting near her.
You're nothing but a common thief. You maybe even killed a man.

MARKO
It wasn't even like that. I had good reason for what I was doing. And that’s the truth.

WIFE
You are the truth, sitting in prison, having three meals a day together.

MARKO
I live in a prison. It's a great truth.

WIFE
And that is the truth that you left behind. Right there in that bedrooom.

Penny is awake and standing beside the bedroom door

MARKO
I missed you.

PENNY
I missed you too, Daddy.

Penny gives a pendant to Marko.

MARKO
I promise. I'll make you healthy again. Whatever it takes. I'll get the money.

Siren of patrol car was heard

WIFE
You get out of here.

MARKO
Now. I'm not a bad person. Just had bad luck.


INT. AUNT MAY’S HOUSE
Peter rings the doorbell. And Aunt May opens the door.

AUNT MAY
Peter, what is it?

PETER
It's MJ...

PETER
I'm gonna ask her to marry me!

Peter and Aunt May are talking in her kitchen. Aunt May makes tea for him.
Peter is a little excited.

AUNT MAY
Oh, Peter! Oh!
The day that uncle Ben asked me to marry him, he was so scared and excited.
And very young. And I loved him so fiercely.

PETER
Then you said yes, right?

AUNT MAY
No. I wanted to say yes, but I said no. I wasn't ready, neither was he. So we took our
time. Looked forward to it. Didn't want to run into something with nothing to count on
but love. A man has to be understanding and put his wife before himself. Can you do
that, Peter?

PETER
Yeah. I think I can.

Peter and Aunt May are still talking.


In Aunt May’s house, she talks to Peter slowly, pouring tea into a cup for him.


AUNT MAY
Then you have my blessing.
I hope you've considered a proper proposal.
Your uncle had it all planned.
He took me to the beach one Sunday.
He was a knockout in his bathing suit.
And I, I didn't look too bad myself.
We were very good swimmers.
It was a beautiful day,
and he said: "Let's swim to the island."
And at the island,
we found a perfect spot by an old tree,
and we lay down and looked up at the sky.
And then he said, "Close your eyes, May."
And I did. And then he said, "Open them. And I did.
And he was holding this ring. Dazzling, in front of me.
I thought it was the sun. We'd be married 50 years
come August... if...

Aunt May offers the ring to Peter.

AUNT MAY
So. I hope you make it very special for Mary Jane.
Do something she'll never forget. Give her this. Come on.
Take it.

Peter hesitates, then takes the ring. He and Aunt May hug.

EXT. STREET
Peter is riding his scooter when Harry grabs him from the sky, riding a glider.

PETER
Harry.

HARRY
You knew this was coming, Pete.

PETER
Listen to me! I didn't kill your father! He was trying to kill me. He killed himself.

HARRY
Shut up!

Peter and Harry begin to fight. Peter almost loses his ring, then catches it in the air. Harry
follows him into an alley.

HARRY
I'm still here, Peter!

Harry throws some knives at Peter.

PETER
Hate those things.

After the hard acrobatic battle, the winner Peter calls out to the loser Harry who is lying down.

PETER
Harry.

Harry doesn't respond.

PETER
Harry!

Peter kneels down next to Harry and checks his pulse.

PETER
Oh my God. Harry! Come on! God!

INT. HOSPITAL
Peter goes to the hospital with Harry, and Harry is put in “the Emergency Room”.
Doctors try to revive him with electroshock therapy.

DOCTOR 1
And clear!

DOCTOR 2
No response.

DOCTOR 1
Recharge. Let's go again.　Clear!

DOCTOR 2
No response.

DOCTOR 1
We charge it one more time. And clear!

When Peter is waiting at out of the Emergency Room, Doctors continue trying to resuscitate Harry.

INT. POLICE STATION
A policeman calls Captain Stacy to talk about new information.

POLICEMAN
Captain Stacey.

CAPTAIN STACY
What's this?

POLICEMAN
Flint Marko, the guy we tied to the Ben Parker homicide.

CAPTAIN STACY
What about him?

POLICEMAN
He just broke out of Rikers.

CAPTAIN STACY
And?

POLICEMAN
He's on the run. He's in the marshlands. I think we got him.

EXT. MARSHLANDS
Flint Marko is running away from many policemen.

POLICEMAN
There he is!

Marko climbs a fence with a sign that says "DANGER KEEP OUT" to escape from the police
and the police dog.

POLICEMAN
Euton, take the west side. Tommy, take the east. Where'd he go?

EXT. RESEARCH FACILITY
Marko falls in an experimental device. The man is crystallized and broken into pieces.

INT. RESEARCH FACILITY

RESEARCHER 1
That's it. It's charged.

RESEARCHER 2
Right. Donnie, we got a little fluctuation on 1.
There's a change in the silicon mass.

RESEARCHER 1
It's probably a bird. It'll fly away when we fire it up.
Initiating demoleculisation.

INT. HOSPITAL
Peter asks a docter about Harry’s condition.

PETER
How is he?

DOCTOR
He's gonna be OK. But there's been some memory impairment.
Particularly his short-term memory.
Right now, he can't remember the accident
or anything that happened to him recently.

PETER
Is it permanent?

DOCTOR
It could be.

PETER
Only time will tell.

DOCTOR
He's awake if you want to see him.

PETER
Uh-- maybe I should wait.

DOCTOR
Nah, it's fine. Just keep it brief. Allow him to rest.

INT. HARRY'S SICKROOM

HARRY
Hey, buddy.

PETER
Hey.

HARRY
Hit my head.

PETER
Yeah.

HARRY
Doctor said I was in an accident. Hit and run. I don't remember much
of anything. My father--he died, right? This is all so weird.

Mary Jane comes in.

MARY JANE
Hi. I got here as fast as I could.

HARRY
I know that face.

MARY JANE
How are you doing?

HARRY
I don't know. Last thing I remember, I was falling...somewhere.

MARY JANE
You're still fine.


MARY JANE
We love you, Harry.

HARRY
It feels like
somehow I've been gone for a really long time.
Now I'm back home.

PETER
It's good to have you back.

A nurse comes into the sickroom.

NURSE
I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to ask you guys to scoot, OK?

PETER
OK.

NURSE
All right, thank you.

HARRY
Well, I'll see you tomorrow.

PETER
Yeah, great.

Peter and Mary Jane go out of sickroom.

INT. hallway in hospital

MARY JANE
I think he's gonna be fine.

PETER
Think so.

MARY JANE
And you guys seem great.

PETER
Yeah.

INT. HARRY'S SICKROOM

NURSE
You have lovely friends.

HARRY
My best friends.
I'd give my life for them.

EXT. PARTICLE PHYSICS TEST FACILITY

Suddenly, the sand begins to move and takes the shape of Marko.

Questions
1.  Why is Harry angry at Peter?
2.  What happens to Harry after the fight?
3.  What happens to Marko in the test facility?
